Communication, Transparency, and Trust

Community members should never be surprised by AI use. Trust is earned through clarity, consent, and honest limitations.

Avoid confusing people with hype or jargon.

Practice Exercise

Draft a short paragraph explaining why your organization uses AI in one specific way and what boundaries you follow.

Template (copy/paste)

ROLE: You are my AI assistant.
TASK: Write a public-facing transparency statement about our AI use.
OUTPUT: 1 short paragraph + 3 FAQs.
CONSTRAINTS: Plain language, respectful tone, highlight human oversight and privacy.

Ethics & accuracy: verify important facts, avoid sharing sensitive personal data, and be transparent when AI helped draft content.
